As parents, it can be difficult to get our kids excited about exercise! The teenage years can be full of stress and pressure from school, social life and other activities. For teens to be healthy, both physically and mentally, finding a way to help them stay motivated can be tricky.
Maybe they have asked you for help, or your a parent desperately seeking out a training program your child will enjoy or they have stumbled across our website. Either way we can help.
Forget the fads and quick fixes, with two girls myself it’s imperative that the right support is available and it’s fun!
Here at Kate Campbell Fitness we can help teens build a healthy lifestyle by focusing on strength and fitness in a safe, small and friendly environment, setting them up to be exercise confident, strong, powerful and full of vibrancy and vitality.
We’re the stepping stone, the starter experience supporting them move confidently to the big gyms when they are ready.
We focus on coaching them how to lift weights and use the exercise equipment the right way, gain knowledge about the benefits of fueling their body to support activity both inside and outside of the gym and tailor the experience to each individual.
To take into account other commitments with we’ve found 8 Personal Training sessions to be the ideal number for teens. With an 10 week expiry allowing for exams, holidays and times when they are just too tired!
With the ability to repurchase, and the option of using the gym the feedback from our teens is that they love coming because it’s not busy, everyone is friendly, the sessions are fun, they love lifting weights and feeling stronger.

A friendly small and welcoming gym
When you come for your first appointment bring one of your parents.
During your consultation, you can expect to discuss goals and aims. What you like and dislike!
You’ll receive a gym induction if relevant at your first appointment to guide you through using the equipment safely.
Your personal trainer will then begin to design a personal, fun program just for you.
Outside of the gym choose extra activities you enjoy to keep you motivated throughout the week.

If it’s just for a chat come along in casual clothes.
If you are attend for a gym induction, you should wear something comfortable and easy to move in. Wear a pair of comfy clean trainers, as this will provide the best support for your feet during any exercises that you may be asked to do.
Ultimately, pick an outfit that makes you feel relaxed and comfortable.
Bring a drink along to your session.

If you need to cancel your 1-1 appointment please let us know 24hr before or the session credit will be lost.
