I contacted Kate early in my pregnancy as having spoken to others with hypermobility, I had visions of needing crutches early on in pregnancy and perhaps a wheelchair later on. I love being active and to be honest this aspect of being pregnant filled me with dread. 

When you sign up with Kate you're not just joining a gym, you're joining a lovely family who genuinely care for and support you, and there's a huge range of resources available to you too. Just one example of this is when I had to cancel a session due to bruised ribs, Kate recorded me a video of emergency stretches to help me out!

It was a privilege to train with Lauren throughout my pregnancy. All my sessions were fun, carefully thought out and well targeted, although she didn't mind changing plans at the drop of a hat when I was having a bad day! The exercises were perfect for my needs and I felt very involved in my training plans. I was fit and active before I got pregnant but I'm amazed to say that my balance and strength is better now at 36 weeks pregnant than it was 9 months ago!

I am fitter, more mobile and far more confident in my body's ability at 9 months pregnant than I would ever have dared possible, thanks to Lauren. 

I can't recommend Kate's gym, and training with Lauren, enough.
